CRUD

CRUD is a DIY clothing brand and creative reuse passion project I began developing in 2024 as an outlet to explore upcycled garment design .

Sewing and customizing my own clothing has been a hobby I’ve been cultivating going back to my teenage years in the DIY punk scene. My undergraduate design program had a heavy focus on sustainability principals, pushing us to be mindful of where and how the materials for our projects are produced and where they inevitably end up at the end of it’s life cycle. The materials I use for my creations are primarily sourced from wholesale fabric samples that get rotated out every season, or from thrift store liquidation centers.

By utilizing my graphic design, art direction, and sewing expertise, I am able to cover many bases in CRUD’s creative direction. The brand currently still being in it’s infancy, I plan to use CRUD as a creative outlet and a tool for future collaborations with my peers in the artist community.
