School Schmool
School Schmool is an annual social justice-oriented resource guide and academic agenda published by QPIRG Concordia and QPIRG McGill. This activist day planner exists to direct students (especially new students) towards anti-oppressive and decolonial resources, artists, activist groups and activities. The theme we chose for this edition was Limit(less), revolving around the context of the limits we encounter while navigating our role as activists (like burnout). As co-coordinator and designer for the 2019-2020 edition of the agenda, I translated this concept into the book's layout by minimizing borders and rules, and manipulating the typography to take on an organic shape rather than being confined to traditional text boxes
My role also included project management, promotional efforts, outreach initiatives, artist sourcing for cover and interior art, content aggregation and editing, fundraising endeavors, and distribution coordination.
