The Breach
I served as Art Director at The Breach for four years, beginning with the organization’s launch in 2021. As the sole Art Director at an up-and-coming news organization, I played a central role in shaping its visual identity. I created feature images and infographics for articles, built cross-platform social media templates, produced assets for video content, provided art direction for video productions, and designed merchandise and promotional materials, all while ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines. I also developed the logo and brand style guide for Breach Books, the organization’s publishing arm, and designed the covers and interior layouts for its first two publications.
My multidisciplinary approach and adaptability to new challenges helped me excel in this role. I took on an array of special projects, from designing the set for a weekly live stream show to developing a map illustrating Crown land across Canada (which is still in progress following my departure).
